Our company name is a true reflection of what we are all about, finding odd pieces of information.  Winnipeg is the Cree word for muddy water, and in 1866 one of the first newspapers in the region, the Nor’ Wester, was the first one to coin the term to designate this area.  Hence the name of the company.
